OTT Terminal is an educational and research-oriented interface for the XRP Ledger ecosystem. This policy explains which personal data OTT Terminal may process, why it is processed, and which choices and rights users have.
1. Who is responsible
OTT Terminal is operated under the TruthOnTheTrack / OnTheTrack project in the Netherlands. Privacy requests can be sent to the verified support email displayed in the OTT Terminal account interface and on the Google OAuth consent screen.
2. Data we may process
- Account information such as email address, display name, authentication provider, and account identifier.
- Optional public XRPL wallet addresses linked by the user.
- Academy progress, assessment results, XP, certificate eligibility, and certificate delivery status.
- User-submitted research evidence and the metadata needed to store and retrieve it privately.
- Technical information needed for security, authentication, error handling, rate limiting, and reliable operation.
- Public XRPL transaction data requested or verified through the service.
3. Why data is used
Data is used to create and secure accounts, save educational progress, provide requested features, verify XRPL actions, prevent duplicate certificate claims, protect the platform, respond to support requests, and improve reliability. OTT Terminal follows purpose limitation and data minimisation: data should only be collected when needed for a stated function.
4. Google account data
When Google sign-in is enabled and selected, OTT Terminal receives only the profile information made available through the approved OAuth scopes, normally a stable account identifier, email address, basic profile name, and profile image. Google data is used only for authentication, account display, and account security. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or other Google services unless a separate feature and permission are explicitly presented to the user.
5. XRPL and public ledger information
The XRP Ledger is public. Wallet addresses, submitted transactions, NFT identifiers, transaction hashes, and related ledger information may remain publicly available independently of OTT Terminal. Public blockchain records cannot generally be changed or erased by OTT Terminal.
6. Service providers
OTT Terminal may use infrastructure and authentication providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Google authentication, Xaman, and public or configured XRPL endpoints. These providers process limited data required to deliver their service under their own terms and data-protection obligations. Data is not sold to advertisers.
7. Storage and retention
Account and learning records are retained while the account is active or while reasonably necessary for the requested service, security, legal obligations, dispute handling, and prevention of duplicate claims. Private research uploads remain associated with the user’s account until removed or the account is deleted, subject to necessary backup and security retention periods.
8. Security
OTT Terminal uses access controls, private storage rules, server-side verification, Row Level Security, and separation between public browser credentials and trusted server credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. User rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding their personal data, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Users may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. Requests should be sent through the verified OTT Terminal support contact.
10. Children
OTT Terminal is not intentionally directed at children below the age at which they may independently consent to online services under applicable law. A parent or guardian should contact OTT Terminal when they believe a child has supplied personal data without appropriate permission.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.

OTT Terminal is een educatieve en onderzoeksgerichte interface voor het XRP Ledger-ecosysteem. Dit beleid legt uit welke persoonsgegevens OTT Terminal kan verwerken, waarom dit gebeurt en welke keuzes en rechten gebruikers hebben.
1. Verantwoordelijke
OTT Terminal wordt beheerd onder het Nederlandse TruthOnTheTrack / OnTheTrack-project. Privacyverzoeken kunnen worden gestuurd naar het geverifieerde supportadres dat in de OTT Terminal-accountinterface en op het Google OAuth-toestemmingsscherm staat.
2. Gegevens die kunnen worden verwerkt
- Accountgegevens zoals e-mailadres, weergavenaam, authenticatieprovider en account-ID.
- Optioneel gekoppelde openbare XRPL-walletadressen.
- Academy-voortgang, beoordelingsresultaten, XP, certificaatgeschiktheid en afleverstatus.
- Door gebruikers aangeleverd onderzoeksmateriaal en de metadata voor privéopslag.
- Technische gegevens voor beveiliging, authenticatie, foutafhandeling en betrouwbare werking.
- Openbare XRPL-transactiegegevens die via de dienst worden opgevraagd of geverifieerd.
3. Doeleinden
Gegevens worden gebruikt om accounts te maken en beveiligen, leerresultaten op te slaan, aangevraagde functies te leveren, XRPL-acties te verifiëren, dubbele certificaatclaims te voorkomen, ondersteuning te bieden en de betrouwbaarheid te verbeteren. OTT Terminal past doelbinding en gegevensminimalisatie toe.
4. Google-accountgegevens
Wanneer Google-login is ingeschakeld en gekozen, ontvangt OTT Terminal alleen profielinformatie uit de goedgekeurde OAuth-scopes, normaal gesproken een stabiele account-ID, e-mailadres, basisprofielnaam en profielfoto. Deze gegevens worden alleen gebruikt voor authenticatie, accountweergave en beveiliging. Ze worden niet verkocht, voor advertenties gebruikt of gebruikt om Gmail, Drive, Contacten, Agenda of andere Google-diensten te openen zonder een afzonderlijke functie en expliciete toestemming.
5. XRPL en openbare ledgergegevens
De XRP Ledger is openbaar. Walletadressen, transacties, NFT-ID’s en transactiehashes kunnen buiten OTT Terminal blijvend openbaar zijn. OTT Terminal kan openbare blockchainregistraties doorgaans niet wijzigen of verwijderen.
6. Dienstverleners
OTT Terminal kan infrastructuur- en authenticatieproviders gebruiken, waaronder Supabase, Vercel, Google-authenticatie, Xaman en openbare of ingestelde XRPL-endpoints. Zij verwerken beperkte gegevens die nodig zijn om hun diensten te leveren. Persoonsgegevens worden niet aan adverteerders verkocht.
7. Bewaartermijnen
Account- en leergegevens worden bewaard zolang het account actief is of zolang dit redelijkerwijs nodig is voor de dienst, beveiliging, wettelijke verplichtingen, geschillen en het voorkomen van dubbele claims. Privéonderzoeksmateriaal blijft aan het account gekoppeld totdat het wordt verwijderd of het account wordt gewist, rekening houdend met noodzakelijke back-up- en beveiligingstermijnen.
8. Beveiliging
OTT Terminal gebruikt toegangscontrole, privéopslagregels, serververificatie, Row Level Security en een scheiding tussen openbare browsergegevens en geheime servergegevens. Geen enkele online dienst kan absolute veiligheid garanderen.
9. Rechten
Gebruikers kunnen, afhankelijk van de toepasselijke wetgeving, vragen om inzage, correctie, verwijdering, beperking, overdraagbaarheid of bezwaar en kunnen toestemming intrekken wanneer verwerking daarop is gebaseerd. Ook kan een klacht worden ingediend bij de bevoegde privacytoezichthouder.
10. Kinderen
OTT Terminal richt zich niet bewust op kinderen die volgens de toepasselijke wetgeving nog niet zelfstandig toestemming mogen geven voor onlinediensten.
11. Wijzigingen
Dit beleid kan worden bijgewerkt wanneer het product, dienstverleners of wettelijke vereisten veranderen. De datum bovenaan toont de laatste versie.
